The Quarters
For those who stayed with us when we first set up, nearly 4 years ago, the last 2
years we have been 81% and 85% booked all year - AMAZING! That first year
we didn't know where we were going to get bookings. Now there are often 10
enquiries a night. If you're thinking of coming to visit, how about some of the dates below...
Availability
Labour Weekend and Christmas: We have availability for Labour weekend - we are not yet booked from the 24th to 30th October inclusive so get in quick! Someone has also cancelled Christmas at The Quarters, including the buildup and aftermatch, so we are now available from the 22nd to the 26th December inclusive. We provide the tree and decorations - you bring the turkey!
Summer Bookings: There is still plenty of space in November - so how about a pre-Christmas
break? After that there is only 24th to 27th January inclusive and then after the 21st March 2004. For more information about bookings please click here.
In case you need reminding of some of the activities around us...
Walking Tracks
Walking - by far the biggest activity... no, maybe after sleeping, looking at the view, reading and relaxing. So we've put numbers on the tracks and we also provide a handout to take with you. One walk goes up on top, way above The Quarters, to look over the Mahia Peninsula. The other goes up the coast and over to the river. Few have ventured as far as the 10km each way - but a great walk!
The Farm
It's sure been a wet August and September. You wonder how any lambs survived
as we've had day after day of rain. Those who've been here will be pleased to know our 100 year
old kitchen at home is at last gone and we've got a laundry!
