we can say honestly and unbiasdlly that The Quarters has the
best view in NZ, North or South Island and we've been to some
very beautiful places! You know we love it here - you have
made us feel like family and have taken wonderful care of
us.

"Lighthouse Keepers must have felt something of this
- the mind filling with blue and wind. After 6 days I feel
I could float above the sea on this deck for weeks - nothing
in the way but space, light, peace. The "Roughs"
are generous and gentle hosts ensuring the smoothest possible
transition from the everyday world to this haven (Heaven?)
of sun, grass, wind, wave, sky, rock ...bird. We have already
booked another week - this time in mid-winter!"
However,
if it's activities you are looking for.... "We are now
going home to rest after tramping, river walking, mountain
biking, fishing, kayaking, tennis, boulling, rabbit shooting,
possum hunting, surfing, body boarding, videoing, photographing,
dreaming -wonderful stay. We felt truly at home and leave
with fond memories."
